On 30 June. we had the honour of taking part as sponsors in the 13th edition of the iDermo Awards, held in the stunning auditorium of La Pedrera in Barcelona. A true celebration of dermocosmetics and health that brought together more than 140 pharmacists and executives from the country’s leading laboratories.
The gala, hosted by pharmacist and health communicator Álvaro de Miguel, honoured the Best Dermocosmetic and OTC Products of the past year. The most awarded laboratories were L’Oréal (7 awards), Cantabria Labs (7 awards) and Segle Biotech Skincare (5 awards).
In the opening remarks, Marc Florensa, Director of the Beauty & Health Division at Interempresas, thanked the laboratories and pharmacists for their support of the iDermo.com platform and highlighted the role of the pharmacy within the value chain:
“We work in a sector where innovation doesn’t end when the product leaves the laboratory (…) the entire process is made up of independent pieces all moving in the same direction: delivering a better experience.”
Sergio Canamasas, CEO of Faca Packaging, took part in the ceremony as one of the presenters, handing out awards to the evening’s winners.
