Yesterday, we had the opportunity to spend a day with the students of the CFGM in Pharmaceutical Product Manufacturing Operations and the Higher Technician in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnological, and Related Product Manufacturing at IES Severo Ochoa in Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona).

It was an enriching meeting that allowed us to reflect together on the importance of local industry, the value of real manufacturing, and the strategic role that industrial companies play in the economic and social development of their region. Initiatives like this are part of a shared social responsibility between the educational environment and the local industrial fabric, especially in highly technical and regulated sectors such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
Sharing Innovation from Industrydo innovación desde la industria
At Faca Packaging, we had the opportunity to share with the students some of the advances we are developing in cosmetic and pharmaceutical packaging, focusing on:
- Monomaterial packaging, designed to facilitate recyclability
- Refillable packaging solutions
- Airless systems, essential for product protection and consumer safety

All of this is manufactured locally in Barcelona, highlighting the packaging as an essential part of the product, while emphasizing the technical demands of working in highly regulated industrial environments.
Connecting Talent, Knowledge, and Place
For us, bringing industrial reality closer to students is a long-term investment. Connecting education and industry it is a key lever to ensure the future of the sector, attract qualified technical talent, and strengthen the local industrial ecosystem.
At Faca Packaging, we will continue to support this type of initiative, convinced that dialogue between companies and vocational education is essential to building a stronger, more innovative, and sustainable industry.
